Summer Skiing
The Stubai Glacier is 30 minutes away from Innsbruck Hostel. Here you can ski or snowboard in summer.
Ski in the morning on the Glacier, and swim in the afternoon in our private lake. There are also many other beautiful lakes a short distance away.

Bungeejumping

Summer Bob-Sled
With special Bobs, and an experienced pilot, you can ride down the 1270m long Olympic Bob- sled track in Igls. Travel with more than 100km/h and in 60 seconds experience the famous circle and labyrinth. Arrive safe and sound at the finish and receive your certificate of participation.

The Nordkette single trail is one of Europes steepest, longest and most difficult mountain bike downhill tracks. It is technically challenging and very demanding for the riders. Experience this famous mountain biking area.

Skateboard & BMX
A trend sport for the youth of today. Since December 2011 in the Olympia World Innsbruck, young and old can experience the skate, BMX and Inline- skate facilities at the specially built hall in the Matthias Schmid- Strasse 12, Innsbruck.

Indoor Climbing
The Innsbruck climbing centre was opened in the year 2000 as one of the worlds most popular training centres for sport and competetive climbing. This climbing facility has over 1000 sq meters of lead climbing faces and 250 sq meters of bouldering face. The climbing centre is located in the new Tivoli Stadium at the foot of the Patscherkofel in Innsbruck. There are courses and training offers for all levels of ability.

Hiking / Nordic Walking
From spring to autumn there are miles and miles of different hiking paths for beginners or experts starting right outside the Innsbruck Hostel front door.
If you decide to take a hike in the mountain regions, the popular Patscherkofel cable car takes you into the alpine garden of Austria, where the alpine flora and fauna flourishes in an area comprising two hectares.
You also have the possibility to enjoy a treatment at the Kneipp facility in the village. At the end of the day enjoy a free Sauna or a swim in the Innsbruck Hostel’s private lake.
Lakes
Enjoy the day, and then a swim in the private lake situated outside the Innsbruck Hostel front door, or at the nearby Lanser-lake.
Rafting
In the Area 47 Outdoor- park in Otztal in Tirol,Austria, children, teenagers and adults can have adventures and experience the mountain elements. Rafting and canyoning will put you up close and personal with the wild water of the Ötztal.

Neustift in the Stubai Valley, is just 20 minutes away from the Innsbruck-Hostel. Here you can enjoy this excellent flying area with our good friend and partner, Michael, from the Inntour company. Explore this adventure area and enjoy paragliding, canyoning, rafting and other trend sports.

Golf
Just 5 minutes from the Innsbruck Hostel is a brand new 9 hole golf course, called Olympia Golf. (Par 58) with generously laid out driving range with flood lighting, clubhouse, golf school, restaurant and car park.
„Pay and Play“ – club membership not required. The course has 7 challenging par 3 holes and 2 par 4’s. Well defined greens and numerous water hazards ensure an exciting game, also ideal for beginners. For more information see: Olympia Golf

Tennis
Just a 5 minute walk on a forest path behind the Innsbruck Hostel, you will find the Parkclub Igls Tennis centre. There are 9 sand courts with lighting, in the idyllic location of the Igls Kurpark, plus 3 sand courts and 1 squash court in the Tennis hall.
Beachvolleyball
There are 2 beach volleyball courts near the Patscherkofel cable car station just 50 m below the Innsbruck Hostel.
Horse Riding
Nestled against the majestic of the mountains of Igls, horse lovers will discover an equestrian centre that caters for all their needs. Lunging sessions, group sessions, pony rides and outdoor rides through the beautiful Igler woods.
